DCS announces the launch of Congressman Jim McDermott’s new online office |

Dear Friends,
DCS is pleased to announce the launch of Congressman Jim McDermott’s new online office. As Rep. McDermott represents one of the most technologically savvy districts in the country, he wanted his new website and e-Newsletter program to mirror that, providing DCS with an exciting opportunity to innovate.
The website features:
- An easy-to-use constituent services section that makes it simple for constituents to find the information they need
- A robust legislative module that allows constituents to browse Rep. McDermott’s latest accomplishments and learn more about the active bills in Congress
- A colorful interactive map that brings constituents face-to-face with what Rep. McDermott is doing for them in their neighborhood and other areas around Seattle
- A special “In the Spotlight” section where Rep. McDermott will highlight issues of top concern to people in his district

DCS is also helping the office bring the fresh, new look of the website to Rep. McDermott’s new e-newsletter campaign, which includes:
- Interesting and engaging surveys for constituents to complete, providing the office with an easy and immediate way to receive feedback from the district and grow their subscriber list
- Social media capabilities that allow readers to post the e-newsletter directly to their Facebook and/or Twitter pages with the click of a button
- Full customer support including, spam monitoring, testing across browsers, strategic planning and real-time reporting
DCS is constantly working to enhance the relationship between Democratic officials and their constituents by creating captivating, interactive, and user-friendly websites and e-newsletters. With a little help from our design and strategy teams, Rep. McDermott’s newly-enhanced online presence will soon help him connect better with his constituents.
