DCS is pleased to announce the launch of Congressman Lloyd Doggett’s new official website. Identifying the need to connect with constituents through online technology, Congressman Doggett’s staff approached the DCS Team to improve the Congressman’s online presence and better connect with his constituency.

The newly redesigned website includes:

• A robust media center that uses a tab module to display embedded YouTube videos, photo galleries, and a Facebook news feed.
• An enhanced homepage that offers several new interactive features, including a survey for constituents on important issues that feeds directly into the office’s constituent relationship management software.
• A prominent “Constituent Corner”, which provides easy access for frequently requested services including tour requests, flag requests, and assistance in obtaining medals for veterans.
• Full integration with Facebook, Twitter, Flicker and YouTube, allowing constituents to stay engaged with the Congressman through social media.
• A multimedia-infused press releases page that includes embedded videos and photos.
• A reorganized content architecture to increase navigability of the site.

The DCS Team improved the office’s use of social media, content, and navigation, and streamlined the overall layout of the website. These changes will improve visitors’ web experience and the effectiveness of the site.

DCS is working constantly to enhance the relationship between Democratic officials and their constituents by creating captivating, interactive and user-friendly websites and e-newsletters. Congressman Doggett’s new official website reflects the Congressman’s goal of being easily accessible to his constituency.
